Venturing through the wooded areas of Ooshima island, the four travelers strive to reach the shrine where Rey Murakami awaits. The infection's rapid spread has already brought its effects into the forest, creating new dangers along their path. Makoto, Ayatsuki, Ayanagi, and Taya must remain vigilant as they encounter wandering infected individuals disrupting their progress. Their journey becomes a tense effort to avoid the spreading insanity and find a way out of the turmoil.
