A private detective receives three urgent requests at once: a cryptic plea from a girl to find her true self, a commission to probe a string of abnormal murders, and an assignment from a school vice principal to locate two missing students. To gather information, he takes a discreet post at the girls’ high school his sister attends and encounters the same girl who first sought his help. As the killings continue unabated, the intertwined cases draw him deeper into a spiral of tragedy, where one unexpected smile may offer a path forward.
