Shizuka arrives in Tokyo after twelve years away, determined to track down the friend who once brightened her final days there. She soon locates Kosuke, only to witness his roguish habits and the string of awkward, comical mishaps that follow him. Though disappointed, she recalls the brief decency he once showed and resolves to draw it out again. As fresh obstacles arise, Shizuka clings to the hope that their old bond might still lead him toward her.
