Rinka rushes to aid her friend Yui beside the pool only to be suddenly subdued by Demura-sensei. Regaining awareness, she finds herself confronted by the sight of Konomi under his control and struggles in vain against her own restraints. When he turns his attention toward her, Rinka meets him with a defiant stare, her resistance only fueling his interest and escalating the immediate threat.
