As the demonic legacy stirs once more, Muneto reaches Kayo just as an otherworldly presence begins to manifest through her. Together they confront the emergence of a hybrid entity whose very existence signals the start of a larger invasion. With time running short, the young agent must use every resource at his disposal to contain the creature and shield Kayo from further harm. The encounter forces both to question how much of the ancient threat can still be turned back.
