Returning to his rural village after a long absence, Musashi finds the surroundings strangely comforting despite his lost memories of old friends. Welcomed at his grandmother’s home, he meets Tamamo, who claims to be a childhood companion he cannot recall. Later that night, a mysterious fragrance leads him into an intimate encounter with her, unknowingly marking the first move in a vengeful scheme against the village leader.
