Amano Jyaku reaches the kingdom of Azuma in search of the Lord of Chaos and soon finds himself drawn into the dictator Caesar’s expansionist schemes. Unrest spreads as half-breed demon beasts rise against their captors, and the return of a long-vanished menace adds to the growing peril. With the Overfiend’s fragile existence hanging in the balance, Amano forms an uneasy alliance with the demon beast Buju. Their combined efforts may be the only hope of averting another world-ending catastrophe.
