After the principal falls ill, vice-principal Migiwa Anzu steps in with an uncompromising emphasis on elite university admissions that clashes with one teacher’s idealistic approach. Discouraged and increasingly ineffective in the classroom, he draws mockery from students and loses their regard. The breaking point comes when five female colleagues loyal to Anzu reprimand him for a lesson mistake, resulting in his removal as homeroom teacher and reassignment to passive observation of another instructor’s class. This marks the quiet start of a trying new chapter at the school.
