A private detective on vacation with his adopted daughter becomes stranded at an isolated ski resort when a fierce storm traps him and the other guests inside. What begins as a quiet retreat quickly darkens after one of the visitors turns up murdered. Determined to solve the crime, the investigator starts probing into the backgrounds of those around him, unearthing troubling secrets and fragments of his own forgotten history. Before long, however, the mounting evidence causes the remaining guests to turn their accusations toward him.
